SHORT DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the sale of GCC’s products in a designated region, utilizing technical expertise and market knowledge to meet customer needs and drive revenue growth while participating in marketing and product development initiatives.

What you will do:
Responsible for the sale of the organization’s products in a specified region or major geographical area. Sells GCC’s products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cultivates a positive safety culture in the district with both internal and external customers alike.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Direct channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Assign sales territory to Sales Representatives.
  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
  • Meet with key clients, assisting Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and operations.
  • Coordinate interaction with sales coordinators and sales team, ensuring policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Heavily involved with larger projects that are outside normal quoting practices or has significant volume.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition within the industry.
  • Responsible for the promotion of available product lines of the district.
  • Provide resources for the technical support for the customers in the region. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Professional journals, technical procedures, computer programs or governmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement a proactive approach to sales and marketing, including development of new markets expansion in existing markets, and promotion of new products.
Experience and abilities you will need:Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing & Processing or related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Leadership, Financial planning, Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Domestic travel
  • Problem solving skills
