LOCATION
Texoma FC's 2025 Spring Internship Program will be based in the Texoma area, starting in March 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in social media/marketing, familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are required. A background in business or sports management is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with merchandising, create engaging content for digital platforms, collaborate on engagement campaigns, execute game day activations, manage community engagement efforts, and provide real-time social media updates during games and events.

Texoma FC is seeking a Content Creator/Social Media Coordinator intern to enhance skills in sports marketing and operations, with responsibilities spanning various departments within the organization.
Texoma FC is a United Soccer league expansion team kicking off March of 2025. Texoma FC is the first professional sports team in the fast growing community and we are looking to hire a Content Creator/Social Media Coordinator.
Job Description:
The 2025 Spring Internship Program is structured to provide participants with the opportunity to work under several departments with the aim to increase the individual's skillset and work experience within the professional sports industry. As a Spring Intern, you will have the ability to work with department heads to learn sports marketing, game day operations, fan engagement and more.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with merchandise team to deploy in person popups throughout neighboring cities
- Assist in the creation of engaging graphics for the team’s website, social media platforms, mobile app, and marketing emails
- Help produce in-house marketing and outreach materials
- Collaborate with each department to build new and engaging engagement campaigns
- Work alongside operations team to execute game day activations
- Maintain an organized local community engagement campaigns for games and events
- Help merchandise team with set up and tear down of merchandise booths at local events
- Assist in the creation of game production scripts
- Work with fan engagement team to deploy strong and exciting pre-game and half time segments for the fan base
- Learn day-to-day communications across team/stadium social media channels utilizing team/brand voice;
- Create and manage department specific calendars for internal club communication
- Work with multiple departments to support the brand and varied timely initiatives
- Work games and events and provide real-time social media updates
- Assist with community engagement campaigns with the marketing and fan engagement departments
- Help identify and interpret social media trends for brand benefit
Required Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience in social media/marketing (sports/entertainment/brand experience preferred)
- Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Studies related to business, sports management, sports administration, etc.
- Must have proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have with the ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
- Must have strong communication skills: must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills
- Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption;
- Must have good decision-making skills, demonstrate sound judgment and interpersonal skills;
- Must have the ability to maintain an impeccable professional appearance;
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use upmost discretion when privy to sensitive information;
- Must have truly outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills;
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently, while also flourishing in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
