QUALIFICATIONS
Current undergraduate or graduate students graduating between Winter 2025 - Spring 2026, with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (preferred 3.5). Strong analytical and software skills in MS Office are required. U.S. residency is mandatory as no visa sponsorship is available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support daily routines and special projects in the COO department, including reporting for projects, updating fee pipelines, preparing executive materials, conducting market research, and maintaining organizational charts. Attend meetings and take notes as required.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
An opportunity for students to intern within the Capital Markets & Advisory group, assisting with analytics, reporting, and project support while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic financial environment.
Description
Duration: 10 weeks
Start Date: May 2025
The primary role of the intern will be to support the daily routines and assist on various special projects and initiatives within the COO department of the Capital Markets & Advisory (CM&A) group. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Pulling together various reporting related to projects and initiatives including (but not limited to): product cross-sell; TOP Initiative analysis; Capital Markets, Corporate Finance and Sponsor coverage metrics analysis and reporting
- Updating and distributing the weekly capital markets fee pipelines, looking into scorecard requests as necessary, and assisting with the implementation of new pipeline management software
- Putting together the CM&A Dashboard to be distributed to senior leadership within the CM&A group on a daily basis
- Conducting peer analysis research aimed at helping the Commercial Bank find new potential product offerings for clients
- Helping prepare and review materials for executive leadership, Board, Investor Relations and strategy presentations
- Compiling information for various audit requests from internal stakeholders (i.e. finance, risk, compliance, etc.)
- Maintaining CM&A and Citizens Capital Markets Inc. (CCMI) supervisory organizational charts
- Attending the Weekly Capital Markets Call, as well as other ad-hoc meetings of the COO, and taking notes as necessary
Preferred Qualifications:

- Current students enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program, graduating between Winter 2025 – Spring 2026 OR current students enrolled in a graduate program, graduating between Winter 2025 – Spring 2026
- Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Please include your cumulative GPA on your resume.
- Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred but all majors will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills and software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency is required.
- Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.
- Please note that U.S. Immigration sponsorship or work visa is not available for intern / full time Analyst positions and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

- Work Schedule: M-F
