Department Summary

  • Strategic Sales and Operations: Help the Operations Managers and Leadership team drive annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with Roche’s internal business processes and regulatory requirements, fostering strong relationships with key customers and external stakeholders to drive business growth and alignment.

  • Sales Training and Effectiveness: Facilitate new hire and ongoing sales training initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and performance. Support process improvement and tool deployment for sales effectiveness, including Salesforce.com, Miller-Heiman, Showpad, and Tableau. Analyze sales tools and resources to optimize functionality and alignment with strategic goals.

  • Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Learn how to influence stakeholders to prioritize and execute critical projects in a timely manner, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills. Develop and maintain strong relationships with global colleagues and functional areas to achieve objectives and resolve issues effectively.

  • Analytical Insight and Continuous Improvement: Utilize strong analytical skills and data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive business performance. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales analytics to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business operations, optimizing processes and enhancing overall efficiency.

  • Marketing and Content Management: Assist in the development of marketing-related content and product launches in coordination with Franchise Marketing and Regulatory teams. Ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence. Maintain alignment with upcoming launches and stakeholder expectations through rigorous analysis of tools and resources for optimization. Contribute to annual convention and conference planning and Roche presence in partnership with Marketing and Customer Engagement.

The Opportunity

  • Create Corporate Accounts Roche Priorities Customer Presentation, which will focus on 1Roche content for an Executive Level customer.

  • Focus on strategy and customer facing content for RFPs and upcoming customer opportunities.

  • Required to collaborate with many teams across the organization (including Marketing, CBI, Pricing, Contracts, Finance, Strategic Affairs and others).

Program Highlights

  • Intensive 12-weeks , full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

  • Program start dates are in May/June (Summer).

  • A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

  • Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

  • Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are (Required)

Required Education

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree

Required Majors: Sales, Management, Marketing, Information Sciences

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $40-$45 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
