Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing social media platforms and executing digital marketing strategies. This internship is a great opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in social media marketing and gain practical experience in a professional setting.

Duties:
- Assist in managing and updating social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn etc.
- Create engaging and relevant content for social media posts
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor analysis
- Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns
- Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and engagement opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content calendars and schedules
- Assist with photography and videography for social media content creation
- Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand mentions and engagement
- Support the team in executing digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing and SEO optimization
- Assist with public relations efforts, including drafting press releases and coordinating media outreach

Experience:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices
- Experience with content creation, including writing engaging copy and creating visual assets
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer
- Proficient in conducting online research using search engines like Google
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

This is an internship position that is for University Credit and offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of social media marketing.
