QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, willingness to travel 40% of the time, prior or current experience in archaeology, environmental, or construction industry, and must reside in California.

Develop and execute outbound strategic plans for revenue growth, manage sales pipeline and forecasts, establish profitability through the company's sales strategy, lead RFP processes, collaborate with subject matter experts for proposals, and nurture key prospect relationships.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Account Executive will join a collaborative sales team to drive sales of environmental consulting services to commercial and government sectors in California, focusing on relationship building and new client acquisition.

Location: Hybrid: Remote and local California office, 40% travel in California
- Develop and execute an outbound strategic plan to increase velocity and maximize revenue growth with targeted new logo prospects in the commercial and government middle markets
- Execute the company’s B2B revenue growth strategy using product positioning, ideal client profile, repeatable/consistent sales processes, prospect targeting, sales funnel management, and sales messaging
- Maintain a sales pipeline of open opportunities valued at 3× booking’s goal
- Forecast bookings and deal closure for assigned sales territory
- Establish scale and profitability by helping to professionalize the Company’s go-to-market strategy and sales function and provide prospect feedback to enhance Chronicle Heritage's positioning in the marketplace
- Master the local competitive landscape and the prospect universe within the territory to maximize whitespace capture
- Lead the RFP process in an assigned territory
- Collaborate with Office Principals and other Chronicle Heritage SMEs to advance opportunities and create proposals
- Deliver proposal and quote presentations to new logo prospects
- Identify, manage, and resolve new logo prospect needs and concerns with Chronicle Heritage offerings and solutions
- Develop and nurture key prospects and relationships through timely virtual and in-person meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Willingness to travel to new logo prospect locations within assigned geography, occasional off-site meetings and events approximately 40% of the time
- Prior or current experience working in the archaeology, environmental, or construction industry
- Reside in the territory: California
- Experience selling professional services to stakeholders in commercial businesses and government agencies, organizations, and committees that are responsible for government regulations
- Knowledge of the buying process with government agencies and in the land development, construction, oil/gas, renewables, and telecommunications industries
- History of successful quota achievement
- Communicate effectively through writing, public presentation/speaking, and individually
- Self-organized
- Must be able to observe social and professional interactions and respond appropriately
- Some work is performed primarily in an indoor environment and requires sustained sitting and use of fingers, hands, and arms to operate a computer and perform keyboard entry of data or document preparation (or equivalent with accommodation). Must also be able to operation standard office equipment (phone, copy machine, FAX machine, etc.)
