QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 years of experience in client services within a social/digital marketing/advertising environment, ad agency experience required, automotive category experience is a plus.

INNOCEAN USA seeks a Freelance Account Executive, Social to manage client projects in a hybrid work environment, starting January 2025.
INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in Huntington Beach, CA, is looking for a Freelance Account Executive, Social to join our growing team!
This is a long-term, on-going, long-term contract position beginning in January 2025.
We are a hybrid workplace, x 2 days week onsite. Candidates must be local to SoCal.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in social and digital at an ad agency or client services environment and will have managed multiple projects successfully to completion. As an Account Executive, you will manage client initiatives and projects to successful completion and oversee the efforts of junior staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business/Marketing
- Shows solid knowledge of the clients business (including pricing, product, sales, brand metrics, business economics, and marketing channels, results and strategies).
- Leads competitive analysis.
- Informs creative strategy for projects with insight on business, customer, brand and client.
- Is able to communicate (verbal/written) program or project objectives and strategy for all owned projects.
- Results owner can articulate past results and measurement strategies.
- Proactively brings recommendations and ideas to clients based on business knowledge.
- Experience with Paid and Organic social media
Leadership
- Develops strong relationships with day-to-day clients and keeps client up to date on latest category, digital and marketing trends.
- Keeps team members informed about account / project status, owns status documentation and supports internal meetings.
- Manages relationships with partners / vendors, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Proactively learns basic client management techniques (how to document client feedback, how to recognize when to push back, etc.).
- Seeks to expand skill set.
- Experienced working collaboratively with a wide range of cross-functional teams.
Financial skills and Project Management
- Flags and escalates issues driving scope creep.
- Is accountable for accuracy of billing.
- Prioritizes and organizes tasks efficiently.
- Understands the project delivery process, and competently uses all project-related delivery tools.
- Is able to deliver on (small to medium sized scope) site updates and self-contained projects unaided.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of experience in a client services function within a social/digital marketing/advertising environment
- Ad agency experience required
- Automotive category experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
