primary point of contact and trusted advisor
for our service customer accounts at the corporate level. Your focus will be on delivering strategic customer relationship management while ensuring business results, improving customer satisfaction, and uncovering opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Customer Success:
    Forge robust, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including operations managers, asset managers, and executives. Act as the face of our company and ensure genuine customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Strategic Account Management:
    Develop and implement account plans to maximize performance, profitability, and long-term growth, while facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Be a Problem Solver:
    Manage and resolve customer issues with efficiency and tact, acting as a bridge between internal teams and customers.
  • Generate Business Opportunities:
    Identify sales leads, develop commercial opportunities, and collaborate with sales and operational stakeholders to facilitate revenue growth.
  • Deliver Insightful Engagements:
    Present account performance reviews, analyze feedback, and provide actionable recommendations for process and service improvements.
  • Ensure Financial and Operational Excellence:
    Oversee account Profit & Loss (P&L) activities, compliance, and data accuracy while ensuring financial accountability.
  • Lead Negotiations and Communications:
  • Negotiate, develop, and deliver official letters, notices, and commercial settlements to customers. Facilitate clear understanding of complex contracts, legal documents, and technical or regulatory materials to ensure alignment and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in technical sales, account management, or a related field (required).
    • Master’s degree in business management or an equivalent discipline (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or customer service in a technical context (preferred).
    • Operations management or renewable energy experience is beneficial.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Expert communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Comfortable engaging with customers at trade shows, conferences, and business reviews.
  • Travel:
    • Ability to travel at least 25% for in-person customer meetings across North America, with quarterly visits to the Portland HQ.
  • Financial Acumen:
    • Familiarity with corporate finance to understand budgets, profitability, and settlements is favored.
