Account Manager, Video Streaming Advertising
LOCATION
Remote – 100% remote anywhere in the US with proximity to major airports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong technical background in Video Ad Insertion and OTT Streaming, experience with Ad Ops and Digital Marketing in Media and Entertainment, excellent communication skills, and a BS degree (technical preferred, MBA desired).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hunt for new customers, develop sales opportunity plans, meet or exceed sales quotas, engage sales resources, respond to RFI/RFPs, and travel 30-50% within North America.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Account Manager responsible for selling Harmonic’s VOS360 Ad SaaS solution to Media Customers, focusing on monetizing live video services in the OTT streaming market.
- Actively hunt for new customers and business opportunities and work to break into new accounts
- Understand, articulate, and document the business and technical needs of your customers in order to propose the appropriate Harmonic solution(s).
- Develop and implement sales opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
- Effectively engage sales resources – technical pre-sales, solution & product management, program management, executive team and legal – to successfully close business by developing customer centric solutions based on the specific needs of the customer.
- Meet or exceed sales quota.
- Respond to RFI/RFPs, create proposals, develop ROI and TCO analysis.
- Effectively communicate product requirements from the field back into product management
- Greater than 50% U.S. domestic travel and could include international travel as well
- Meet the business goals and Sales quota defined
- Together with the rest of the team, grow Harmonic’s Video Ad Insertion business in North America
- Expand this growth outside of North America
- Have strong technical background in Video Ad Insertion and OTT Streaming
- Proven knowledge of Video Ad Insertion workflows and eco-systems partners
- Experience in managing accounts and relationship with Ad Ops and Digital Marketing decision makers in Media and Entertainment companies in North America
- Knows how to identify blockers and implement strategies to overcome objections and satisfy all necessary customer constituents to close business.
- Experience in selling into streaming and CTV advertising markets.
- Practical use of Windows professional product suite as required to perform fundamental duties.
- Accountable for your results.
- Experience in organizing and leading an RFP/RFI response team.
- Exceptional initiative and creativity in development of solutions for customers.
- Natural leader; confident and energetic; professional and team-oriented sales approach
- Excellent presentation skills and written and oral communications ability.
- BS degree, technical preferred. MBA desired.
