QUALIFICATIONS
Must be entering senior year of Bachelor's program or second year of Master's program, with an interest in finance and/or accounting, strong organizational and communication skills, self-starter, team player, and experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in building revenue schedules, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, participating in A/R transactions, and supporting various accounting projects and tasks.

THE RUNDOWN
Playfly Sports is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team at our headquarters in Berwyn, PA. Within our 10-week paid Playfly Summer Internship Program, you’ll be immersed into the business side of sports and join our team of talented professionals. Through hands-on experience, projects, and mentoring, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge it takes to have a career in sports while developing yourself professionally and personally.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Build-out revenue schedules and deferred revenue reconciliation
- Prepare journal entries as part of the month-end close
- Work with Finance & Operations to review monthly income statement
- Prepare various schedules for year-end audit & interim testing
- Reconcile general ledger accounts as part of the month-end close
- Gain exposure to the accounts receivable process and participate in A/R transactions/reconciliations
- Assist with various general ledger analysis
- Perform various vendor/customer account reconciliations
- Provide support with a variety of accounting projects and tasks
- Attend all internship events and participate in projects and assignments
- All other duties as assigned

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
- Must be entering senior year of Bachelor’s program or second year of Master’s program, with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
- Must be available to work June 9, 2025 – Aug 15, 2025, 32 hours/week, Monday – Thursday
- Interns will be paid at an hour rate of $15
- Candidates are strictly limited to applying to a maximum of TWO positions
