Merchandise or inventory management experience in automotive retail, previous supervisory experience, high school diploma or equivalent (advanced degree preferred), strong computer skills, valid in-state driver's license, and strong communication and managerial skills.

Seeking an Acquisition Manager for St. George Ford, responsible for enhancing customer service and lead generation while ensuring effective appraisals and compliance in a dynamic automotive environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing :
- Provide exceptional customer service while generating leads through our service drive.
- Meet with service advisors regularly and check in on opportunities.
- Look at service appointments in the Reynolds and Reynolds Tool and follow up with customers on the drive that are in the most likely category.
- Aim for 5 ICO Appraisals per day.
- Hand off customer to appropriate manager if customer wishes to trade their vehicle for either a new or used vehicle.
- If customer decides to sell only, do a thorough mechanical inspection.
- Present KBB ICO and Appraisal Purchase Voucher from vAuto to customer (if selling only).
- Follow up with KBB ICO offers that did not sell or trade.
- Make 40-60 calls per day using the Reynolds and Reynolds tool and setting 4 appointments per day.
- Daily checkout with General Sales Manager providing confirmation on daily performances.
- Follow up on all leads and increase ROI using available online marketing resources
- Understand and keep up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect used vehicle sales
- Monitor customer and market analyses to determine what customers want to purchase
- Establish standards for appraising and appraise all incoming used vehicles
- Other duties assigned
Here’s what you’ll need :
- Merchandise or inventory management experience, preferably in automotive retail or automotive-related industry
- Previous supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent , a dvanced degree strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills and experience with Dealersocket and Automotive Inventory Software
- Valid in-state driver's license with a driving record that adheres to company standards
- Strong written & verbal communication, managerial, problem-solving and team- building skills
- Demonstrate self-assurance, self-confidence and a strong desire to work in a demanding but rewarding atmosphere
