Join EchoStar's Retail Wireless team to lead digital marketing strategies for Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile, driving consumer engagement and optimizing performance through innovative campaigns and effective team leadership.
Today, our brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes and Sling TV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Strategy Management
- Strategy Development and Execution: Develop, schedule, and implement digital marketing tactics that support quarterly initiatives and campaigns. This includes overseeing the acquisition email marketing channel and contributing to other digital media efforts such as audience segmentation, multi-touchpoint and ad hoc campaign strategies, and lead generation. All activities will be aligned with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Tactics include email, paid email, and programmatic offerings.
- Team Management and Leadership: Lead and mentor a dynamic team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members, while driving performance and efficiency. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to meet business goals and deliver successful marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management and Optimization: Oversee and manage the allocation of owned channel marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources across campaigns and channels. Continuously monitor spending, assess cost-effectiveness, and make adjustments as needed to optimize performance and maximize ROI.
- Cross Functional Support & Partnerships
- Cross Departmental Execution: Collaborate with various teams across the organization to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies. Work closely with departments such as integrated marketing, local marketing, ecommerce, promotions, IT, data warehouse, product, and creative to align efforts, streamline processes, and achieve shared business objectives.
- External Partner Relationship Building and Development: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to support marketing initiatives. Oversee budget allocation for external partnerships, ensuring cost-effectiveness while driving mutual success through effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with business goals.
- MarTech and CRM Management
- MarTech Integration and Campaign Management: Manage the implementation and optimization of MarTech tools that support acquisition audience strategies and campaign execution. Oversee project development and the integration of data systems and technologies to build targeted audience segments, ensuring seamless execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage MarTech capabilities for campaign optimization, ensuring data-driven decisions.
- Audience Targeting & Personalization: Develop and implement strategies for segmenting and targeting key audiences to drive engagement and conversions. Work closely with the data warehouse team to create and refine audience attributes that support personalized campaigns. Leverage MarTech tools to build these audiences and use them for targeted media channel strategies, optimizing messaging and content to enhance campaign performance across various platforms.
- Campaign Performance and Optimizations
- Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance using key metrics and reporting tools to evaluate success. Provide regular, detailed reports on campaign outcomes, highlighting areas of strength and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Performance Insights: Leverage data and analytics to generate actionable insights that drive campaign optimizations. Continuously monitor and assess performance to adjust strategies, refine targeting, and enhance overall campaign effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, acquisition strategies, or related fields, ideally within a consumer-focused or tech-driven environment

- MarTech Expertise: Strong background in utilizing marketing technologies (MarTech) to optimize audience targeting, campaign execution, and performance tracking across digital channels
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Ability to leverage data insights and analytics to inform campaign strategies, audience segmentation, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs
- Campaign Management: Proven experience in managing digital marketing campaigns from strategy development through execution, ensuring seamless integration and performance tracking
- Audience Segmentation & Personalization: Expertise in audience targeting and personalization strategies, with a focus on using data-driven attributes to enhance messaging and content relevance across media channels
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams, including sales, product, and creative, to drive integrated marketing efforts and achieve business objectives
- Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets, optimizing spend across campaigns, and ensuring ROI through cost-effective strategies
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic goals
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, collaborate with internal teams, and manage external partnerships
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing solutions that drive continuous improvement in campaign performance and audience engagement
- Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring a team, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving results through effective leadership and support
