JOB OVERVIEW
The Admissions and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the admissions process for patients, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for inidividuals and families. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work closely with the clinical and administrative teams. While assisting the Admission Director, responsibilties also include developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the healthcare organization. This role will include focuses on patient acquisition, community engagement, and promoting services across digital and traditional platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient admissions, including verifying documentation, eligibility, and insurance details
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Organizing strategic marketing events on site to promote sales
- Delivering other creative tactics to convert leads to move-ins
- Reinforce the community's brand reputation and achieve maximum occupancy goals
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated sales experience in senior living, hotel / hospitality or related healthcare environment preferred (i.e. hospital, skilled nursing, long term care, hospice, CCRC or home health)
- Previous sales experience and successful track record in identifying and building local relationships to drive business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate small-group presentations
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, as well as a deeply ingrained passion for seniors to successfully nurture relationships
- Schedule flexibility to work weekends as well as some evenings as necessary
- Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications
