Role Summary:
Prairie Cannabis is an exciting and dynamic Cannabis Dispensary looking for an innovative and thoughtful leader to fill the role of Brand Agent in Charge at our newest dispensary. In this key position, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all state regulations while delivering top-tier customer service. You’ll also take ownership of our in-store brand strategy, driving both awareness and sales through creative marketing initiatives.
As a leader, you'll manage and inspire a team of budtenders and support staff, cultivating a collaborative and motivating workplace culture. The ideal candidate brings in-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strong leadership capabilities, and a dedication to excellence in both customer experience and operational standards.

Brand Responsibilities:
- Ensure all signage consistently reflects our brand and marketing guidelines.
- Maintain and refresh product and promotional displays as needed to keep offerings current and appealing.
- Serve as the main point of contact for promotions, ensuring clear communication with the entire team.
- Manage the execution and messaging of daily/weekly deals across sandwich board displays, TV screens, and "Share the Love" review cards.
- Drive external customer reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, Leafly, and Weedmaps to enhance our online reputation.
- Identify and develop external marketing partnerships, exploring opportunities for tabling, sponsorship, and distributing promotional materials like postcards and flyers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to grow the dispensary’s social media following, contributing to content creation and capturing engaging photos and videos of staff, products, displays, and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate Pop-up Vendor Days, manage in-store marketing requests from brands and cultivators, and ensure promotional merchandise is available for events and special campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers with a warm, professional approach, serving as a knowledgeable and approachable cannabis resource.
- Provide tailored product recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desired effects, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Stay current on the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods, offering expert guidance on choices and proper dosage.
- Educate customers on the differences between strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their unique effects, along with best consumption practices.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive and professional resolution.
- Train staff on compliance procedures, including accurate age verification and product handling protocols.
- Oversee inventory levels, maintain accurate product records, and monitor quality, reporting any issues to the necessary authorities.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain a diverse product selection, ensuring proper labeling and storage of inventory.
- Submit required reports and documentation in compliance with State and company regulations.
- Collaborate with management and marketing teams to develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of budtenders, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment that encourages growth and delivers exceptional customer service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in cannabis is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Ability to handle responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Must be 21 years of age and ability to pass State required background qualifications.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.46 per hour
