Join Equifax as an Analytics Sales Consultant to enhance client relationships, drive new revenue opportunities, and leverage data analytics for automotive dealers and related businesses.

Equifax’s Analytics Sales Consulting team is seeking an Analytics Sales Consultant (ASC) for our Auto Retail and Mobility sales team and their clients, who are a diverse mix of automotive dealers, resellers, rental car companies, and other auto related businesses focused on providing services to consumers and SMBs. The individual in this position will demonstrate the value of Equifax solutions and assets based on actual customer data/input. In doing so, the ASC enhances the client relationship, drives new programs/revenue, and increases Equifax mindshare at their assigned accounts. ASCs are client-facing, quantitative thinkers who have a solid grasp of Equifax’s data and associated assets, an ability to identify and understand the impact of market and economic trends, and a keen understanding of client business needs. They will proactively identify and design quantitative analyses to generate new sales opportunities and support ongoing sales initiatives for the Auto Retail and Mobility sales team.

This role speaks to pre-sales analysis and detailed analytics approaches and methodologies of EFX solutions, best practices, and 3rd-party data sources.

What you’ll do

  • Co-develop (with sales partners) and execute plans leveraging Equifax analytic/data solutions to drive revenue growth and market share with assigned client base

  • Provide analytical consulting expertise through client data to understand analytical needs for solution sales, development and implementation

  • Provide proactive solutions, consult with the client on their data/processes and highlight opportunities where Equifax data and analytics can positively impact the business

  • Create high impact proposals, presentations, internal business plans and related product/solution materials

  • Work closely with the account relationship teams, analytic fulfillment teams and key internal stakeholders/management to produce customer facing presentations and other materials that clearly demonstrate the value of each analytic solution

  • Serve as a key consulting resource in the design, development, implementation and use of custom and generic analytical solutions and capabilities

  • Engage internal stakeholders, sales leadership, internal analytic teams and system/IT infrastructure teams to enable successful deployment/integration and consumption of newly developed solutions by the customer

  • Leverage a consulting approach for improvement to systems and processes already in place with the partner

  • Consult with partners on methods of maximizing profit through optimization of data, models and analytics

  • Proactively work with account relationship teams and other internal teams to devise new engagement approaches and strategies that can help deepen account penetration, increase mindshare/market share and achieve annual revenue goals

  • Present at customer and industry forums to help elevate the Equifax brand, generate product interest and drive industry thought-leadership

  • Travel: 25% on average

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field of study or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in some or all of the following areas relating to data analysis:

    • Credit risk and/or marketing analytics, as well as general credit file or credit account analytics

    • Credit risk strategy development or marketing program development

    • Systems analysis

    • Statistical R&D

    • Automotive marketing, underwriting, or fraud Prevention

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with credit risk scoring, credit data, data attribution, and credit lifecycle management

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience presenting analysis findings to internal stakeholders or clients

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience synthesizing in-depth analyses that leverage data directly supplied from a Credit Bureau or other third party data provider into appropriately positioned and impactful customer facing presentations

What could set you apart

  • MBA or Graduate degree in relevant field

  • Client-facing sales and/or consulting experience

  • Experience using SAS/SPSS/Python or other industry standard statistical software

  • Experience working in automotive credit or fraud risk management

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $129,830 to $180,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
