Apartment Leasing Agent

Leasing agent candidate:

• Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits.
• Extensive outreach marketing experience/background. Facebook knowledge a must for advertising
• You will keep a close eye on local market trends and develop and implement a weekly marketing plan.
• Inspects “market ready” vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness.
• Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly, whether it is a prospect call, resident, service request, etc.
• Completes Guest Card information form on all prospects. Sends thank-you notes, emails, and performs follow-up, and enters all information in Rent Manager.
• Recommend strategies and programs for marketing activity to increase qualified traffic.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community, including implementing resident referral and employer outreach programs, using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e-mail, and other websites), and following other community-specific marketing plans, drives, and special programs.

What you’ll need to Succeed:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Able to work at various properties as needed.
• 1 year experience in Facebook management and Facebook marketplace
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of Rent Manager a plus.
• Bi-Lingual.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
• Ability to drive when needed. A valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance is required.
• Maintains a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office.
• Standard background and social security check on all candidates.
• At least 1 years’ experience in real estate management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
