Job Description:
Role Specialization Description:
The IT Application Analyst for Epic Campaigns will play a key role in the successful deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Epic Campaigns module. This role supports the organization's strategic goal of enhancing member/patient engagement, improving population health outcomes, and streamlining communication workflows.
The analyst’s key responsibilities are application support and configuration, project implementation, stakeholder collaboration, reporting, and end user support, involving the following:
  • Configure and maintain the Epic Campaigns module, including user roles, communication templates, workflows, and reporting tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, coordinating with the vendor (Epic) as needed for escalated support
  • Manage software upgrades, patches, and integrations to ensure minimal disruption and optimal performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for campaign initiatives and configure the application to meet those needs
  • Assist in the planning, testing, and deployment of new features or modules related to Epic Campaigns
  • Develop and update comprehensive technical documentation, including setup guides, standard workflows, and training materials
  • Work closely with operational teams, marketing, and IT to design and execute member/patient campaigns
  • Provide expertise on campaign design and data integration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Design and generate custom reports and dashboards to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
  • Act as a point of contact for end-users, addressing questions and providing guidance on best practices
Role Specialization Requirements and Certifications:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT application support, preferably in a healthcare or CRM environment.
  • Minimum of one Epic Certification in the following applications: Healthy Planet, EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChart, Tapestry CRM and Cadence
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Cheers Campaigns Administration or related patient communication platforms is strongly preferred.
