QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or ten years of related experience; strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and adeptness in creative software including Adobe Suite.

Support the Creative Director in conceptualizing and implementing creative projects, produce designs and media assets, lead and mentor graphic designers, collaborate on projects, and ensure timely completion of milestones.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
This role involves creating innovative designs for The Villages brand while providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of graphic designers.
Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for supporting Creative Director(s) in the strategic conceptualization and implementation of creative projects for The Villages brand. This position applies mastery level skills of creative tools, techniques, or processes in the design process. In addition, this position leads by example, inspires and grows graphic designers, and has a high level of detailed involvement in troubleshooting and iterating creative elements. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
- Translate visionary concepts into compelling designs, campaigns, or products.
- Produce prototype visuals, edit media assets, or code frameworks to bring concepts to life.
- Collaborate on storyboard creation, draft pitches, or guide on-set production.
- Refine key visuals or adjust designs based on client feedback.
- Build and present polished concepts with high amount of creativity, oversee edits, and ensure brand alignment.
- Participate in and occasionally direct creative brainstorm sessions.
- Lead and mentor graphic designers.
- Partner and/or coordinate with account managers, social and digital teams to ensure business and account needs are met.
- Ensure projects and critical milestones are completed on time and within scope of creative project.
- Understand audiences, business lines and accounts goals.
- Maintain a working knowledge of various marketing channels and tools used to create integrated campaigns such as digital media, SEO, email marketing, web development, social media and lead generation.
- Participate in supervisory responsibilities when and where applicable.
- Utilize office computer and host of software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Workfront, as well as creative programs Including Adobe Suite products, Apple Motion, and Final Cut Pro, Chief Architect, Twin Motion and Evernote.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four (4) year college or technical school; or ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- This position requires a strong drive to deliver the ultimate customer marketing experience, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, and the ability to problem solve to handle a variety of variables.
- Must exhibit well-developed interpersonal, communication and servant leadership skills. Must be able to communicate confidently and effectively, in writing and electronically.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
