QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of experience in fundraising or related field, proficiency with donor databases and Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and familiarity with digital marketing platforms.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Fenwick High School seeks an Assistant Director of Annual Giving to enhance its fundraising efforts, collaborate with the Institutional Advancement team, and engage alumni, parents, and stakeholders to support the school’s mission.

- Assist in developing and implementing multi-channel fundraising strategies, including direct mail, email, social media, and events
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the annual giving program, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop segmentation strategies for targeted solicitations, appeals, and communications.
- Lead efforts to engage parents and families in supporting Fenwick’s mission through the annual giving program.
- ?Plan events and communications to foster a culture of giving among current and incoming parents.
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, parents, and friends of Fenwick to deepen their commitment to the school’s mission.
- ?Oversee stewardship efforts, including thank-you processes, donor recognition programs, and impact reporting.
- Collaborate with the Advancement Operations team to analyze donor data, track campaign performance, and generate reports.
- Use data insights to inform strategies for donor retention and acquisition.
- Assist in planning and executing events that promote giving, such as Raise the Shield Day of Giving, class reunions, and alumni gatherings.
- Collaborate with the Institutional Advancement team to ensure events support annual giving goals.
- Partner with the Communications team to create compelling content for annual giving campaigns and donor outreach.
- Work closely with colleagues, alumni and parents to amplify the reach of the annual giving program.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years experience fundraising, annual giving, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in a school or non-profit setting strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency with donor databases (Raiser’s Edge or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms for fundraising.

Fenwick High School seeks an enthusiastic and results-driven Assistant Director of Annual Giving to join the Institutional Advancement team. Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, this position will play a critical role in the growth and sustainability of the annual giving program by building relationships, managing campaigns, and supporting strategic efforts to engage alumni, parents, and other stakeholders in Fenwick’s mission.
The Assistant Director of Annual Giving will collaborate with other advancement team members to achieve annual fundraising goals and ensure a comprehensive and innovative approach to donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday approximately 8am to 4pm
Salary hiring range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year - this salary range represents the expected annual salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider education level, experience and other job-related factors
