POSITION SUMMARY
The Howard University School of Business invites applications for the following position:
Two Tenure Track Positions in Marketing
Applicants for the tenure track positions should have completed their doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited institution by Fall 2025 prior to joining the faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising and mentoring students, and driving an innovative curriculum. In addition, this candidate will have a strong academic background and a demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality journals in their respective fields. Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified as Scholarly Academic based on faculty qualification standards/AACSB accreditation standards and who have discipline-related work experience.
The Department of Marketing welcomes applications from all qualified candidates but is particularly interested in applicants who have demonstrated interest in researching and teaching in the following areas: marketing research, multivariate data analysis in marketing, 3-D data analysis and visualization in marketing, consumer behavior, retailing, digital marketing and analytics, sports marketing, entertainment marketing, fashion marketing, sales, and advertising.
For Tenure-Track Positions, applicants should have core competencies in research productivity and teaching. The candidate shall have appropriate teaching experience at the college level. They should also demonstrate the ability to conduct research through the publication of books, monographs, journal articles, or other scholarly work. Additional expectations include:

Completion of a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited business school with a record of scholarly and professional achievement in the areas of marketing.

Ability to undertake high-quality research to establish a record of refereed publications in leading academic journals in Marketing.

Contribute to research projects, particularly as it is related to working on an academic team, developing the research skills of existing staff, attracting external research grants, and advising students in our marketing clubs, and Center for Digital Business.

Demonstrate excellence and innovation in quality teaching.

Exhibit outstanding communication and teaching skills.
The positions will be available for Fall 2025. The selection committee will review applications as they are received.
