As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dedicated team and assist in managing the day-to-day operations of our properties. Job Description: The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in supporting the management of various properties by handling leasing, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, administrative functions, move ins/move outs and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a background in office administration, facilities management, and property leasing, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to owner and support manager by doing all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collections, property maintenance, move ins/move outs, tenant relations, maintaining tenant accounts and additional items listed
  • Prioritize and assign service/maintenance requests, follow up with progress through completion & tenant satisfaction
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reporting as required for the property
  • Maintain resident relations and resolve residents’ concerns in a professional, timely manner
  • Ensure late notices are delivered to the appropriate resident; prepare legal action for eviction when necessary
  • Organize and execute move-in/move-out functions
  • Property showings, screen potential tenants and reference verification
  • Responsible for property walk-throughs to ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained
  • Perform annual inspections of each unit
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Enforcing lease terms, agreements and renewals
  • Understand and enforce the lease as needed
  • Rental market analysis
  • Advertising/Marketing/Maintaining Social Media
  • Prepare lease agreements
  • Collaborate with the owner to ensure efficient operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • A positive attitude
  • Proven experience in professional property management, real estate or a related field
  • A full understanding of all facets of property management including maintenance, collections, vendor management and customer service
  • In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
  • Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of office administration, facilities management and leasing procedures
  • Proven ability to manage conflict and deliver excellent customer service skills
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • B.S. Degree Preferred

Additional Information:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • After hours emergency calls as needed
  • Additional hours may be needed during peak times (July 25-August 5th)
  • All applicants will undergo background, credit screening and drug test
