About the role
  • We are seeking a talented and driven Associate Account Director to lead client relationships, manage high-profile campaigns, and drive success within our growing team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels at managing teams, building client relationships, and optimizing processes to ensure exceptional campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
What you'll do
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Hire and oversee Account Managers (AMs) to manage campaign execution.
  • Provide guidance to AMs on workload prioritization, ensuring campaigns meet performance expectations.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3-5 direct reports, ranging from Account Managers to Senior Account Supervisors.
  • Work with the Head of Account Management to manage and balance capacity on your respective accounts and/or pod.
Campaign Management
  • Independently manage $2M+ revenue clients and their campaigns.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, handling communications, problem-solving, and reporting.
  • Own the campaign execution end-to-end, including managing cross-functional teams and holding all stakeholders accountable to ensure client deliverables are met on time and completed with a high level of quality.
  • Report campaign performance to clients, including whitelisting metrics and presentation updates.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of high-profile accounts while maintaining high client satisfaction.
Client Relations
  • Build and deepen relationships with clients, serving as their trusted partner.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction that drives renewals and growth within your book of business.
  • Identify growth opportunities and partner with the Client Partnerships Manager (CP) to grow and expand accounts (net revenue retention)
  • Bridge the gap between sales, creative, strategy and account teams to align strategies and client goals.
Process Optimization
  • Evaluate, streamline, and optimize campaign processes to enhance client delivery and elevate renewal rates.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Make informed decisions about adhering to contract terms or taking extra steps to retain and grow client relationships.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Occasionally participate in the RFP process by attending calls or contributing to proposals.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to other team members as needed.
