Purpose of the Job
Klondike is one of the biggest and most iconic Ice Cream Novelties brands in America. Ice Cream is a category with complete interdependency between supply chain, customer marketing, finance and marketing. As such, this role will flex across the traditional brand marketing roles to help drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate Brand Manager, Klondike Performance will drive the business with out-of-the-box ideas, strong leadership of the cross-functional team, and by challenging the status quo to get things done more efficiently. In this role, you’ll handle forecasts, agency relationships, and data analysis for the Klondike business. The person who will be successful in this position is motivated, engaged, and passionate about taking on lots of responsibility and being a partner in driving growth. Close and collaborative work across our Brand Innovation team and Performance/Operations team are a must. Only as a team will we accomplish what we need to in the face of some of the hardest competitive intensity in the category. This will be a very rewarding position - results are immediate and recognizable in-market. The team is fun and has a glass half full attitude. The same attitude needs to be present in the applicant.
Leadership:
- You have strong Business Acumen: you have demonstrated ownership in company and customer P&L management as well as understand how to run a business. You possess strong acumen and demonstrate skillets in net revenue management.
- You’re a born leader: Lead the multifunctional effort with customer counterparts; develop and execute joint business plans; manage NSV and trade investment; manage and lead retail initiatives.
- You love to win, and have fun doing it: Drive strategic relationships and accelerated growth, while operating within approved Trade Marketing parameters and driving trade investment efficiency.
- You’re a dot connector: Routinely interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders; Balance individual customer needs while ensuring total Market integrity.
- You are a self-starter: You love working with ambiguity, developing new solutions and influencing change with a strong bias for action.
What You Will Need To Succeed:
- Undergraduate degree is required
- 8+ years’ combined business development manager and customer business manager required
- Club channel Account Management with CPG is preferred.
- Experience in P&L, financial management and trade marketing is a must.
- Working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI, Trade Promotion Management and Customer POS Data is strongly desired
- Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally
- Must be a strategic thinker that can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative manner
Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,100 to $150,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
