QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS Degree in business, marketing or related field, 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills, creativity, familiarity with digital, mobile, and social media programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and execute marketing plans for brand extensions, develop marketing programs and captivating content, manage brand extension websites and social media, assist with partnerships and event promotions, track performance KPIs.

Seeking a highly organized and creative Associate Brand Marketing Manager to coordinate marketing initiatives and manage brand extensions for Garden & Gun Magazine, reporting to the Brand Marketing Director.
Associate Brand Marketing Manager
Garden & Gun Magazine, LLC is a lifestyle brand anchored by its award-winning national magazine, Garden & Gun that covers the best of the South, including the sporting culture, the food, the music, the art, the literature, the people and their ideas. With a national audience of 3.5 million, the magazine has won numerous awards for its journalism, design, and overall excellence. The publication was launched in the Spring of 2007. The company and editorial team are headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina.
G&G seeks a highly organized and creative candidate to coordinate and execute initiatives for brand extensions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Garden & Gun brand, be highly creative with excellent communication skills. The position reports to the Brand Marketing Director.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Marketing
Coordinate and execute marketing plans for G&G brand extensions, Fieldshop, the Garden & Gun Club, Garden & Gun Society, and any additional extensions as they develop
Develop creative marketing programs for brand extensions and events to continue growing business segment
Assist with brand positioning and market analysis
Manage brand extension websites, social media, newsletters, and editorial content on behalf of the digital and social media teams
Develop captivating content that resonates with our target audience
Lead creative development for in-book and digital programs, including managing in-books ads
Ensure brand extensions are represented through editorial outlets including site, social, and newsletters
Collaborate with Art department for photoshoots of brand extensions
Record, analyze, and report marketing plan performance
Manage licensing agreement terms and ensure scope of work is met and exceeded
Collaborate with brand marketing team to ensure overall success of the department
Retail
Have a deep understanding of our retail customer, and how to develop marketing programs to reach them
Develop an annual content calendar to align with key marketing times
Assist with product forecasting and buying
Set performance KPIs and track against them
Supervise and consolidate monthly reporting of performance
Partnerships
Identify, prioritize, and secure paid B2B partnership opportunities for the Garden & Gun Club and Fieldshop
Work cross-functionally with the Marketing team to develop proposals as it pertains to brand extensions
Liaise with brand extension teams and Garden & Gun headquarters to ensure that clients receive exceptional customer service
Liaise and develop rapport with brand extension teams to ensure collaboration and feedback
Assist with management of public relations team and materials
Events
Manage digital promotion for G&G events including event listings, newsletters, social media
Assist with driving ticket sales for G&G events and proactively strategize event sell-out
Manage event promotion leading up to the event (social media, dedicated e-blasts, and event listings)
Manage duplication of in-book efforts including digital Field Report, event listings, Party Pics
Job Requirements include:
BA/BS Degree in business, marketing or related field.
3-5 years digital marketing experience
A team player with strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills; creative ideas; program development experience and well versed in digital, mobile, and social media programs
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Ability to work cross-functionally, establish and maintain effective relationships with all support departments
Digital publishing and agency experience helpful
Experience with Shopify, MyEmma, Google Analytics, Canva, Meta, a plus
