Job Summary: The Art Team plays a large role in the company, helping with client projects daily and ensuring the continued advancement of the company’s creative initiatives. The Associate Creative Designer, Brand works alongside members of the Brand Team, such as Creative and Marketing to continuously provide design services to internal stakeholders that align with Whitestone’s brand standards. The Brand Designer will need to work within already established company brand guidelines to create new impactful content to serve our Brand Marketing Department. Daily tasks will range from social content creation, formatting new blogs on our Squarespace site, and developing creative presentations to serve as marketing collateral for our Sales staff. Meeting deadlines is essential, as your work will directly support sales efforts. You should be open to frequent feedback, as collateral needs may evolve quickly and meet facepasted time sensitive deadlines.. A passion for continuous learning is key, as staying current with new software, tools, and industry trends is crucial to success in this role.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Follow established brand guidelines to create consistent content for the Brand Marketing Department.
- Design social media content across all brand channels to enhance brand presence and engagement.
- Format and design blog posts for the company’s Squarespace website and newsletters on Hubspot
- Develop a range of creative presentations and marketing collateral for the Sales / Internal teams to utilize.
- Accept and incorporate feedback quickly and efficiently to meet frequently changing collateral needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software, and products to maintain relevance and improve design processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of all design projects to support team and department goals.
- Adapt designs to meet evolving business and marketing needs.
- Maintain the Whitestone brand and website through creating blog posts, newsletters and sell sheets for marketing purposes
- At least 6 months of professional work experience is required. A combination of internship and professional experience will be considered.
- Associate’s degree in graphic design, art, marketing or related field. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, Powerpoint, Mac OS X, G Suite required
- General understanding of UX/UI design experience
- Experience with Figma, Hubspot & Squarespace preferred
