Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$122,250 - $179,300

Position Overview

Lilly has established a centralized Global Customer Office to bring together teams dedicated to understanding and serving customers in the complex healthcare ecosystem. In today’s dynamic environment, Lilly employs a specialized team to address consumer and brand needs through strategic and compliant influencer marketing.

Lilly is currently seeking an Associate Director, Influencer Talent Partnerships, who will lead all aspects of talent and influencer partnership social media activations across a portfolio of brands, including media, PR, and comprehensive campaign activation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sport and Entertainment, the ideal candidate will be data-driven with extensive knowledge of 360-degree marketing and media strategy, coupled with a strong grasp of influencer talent strategy, content creation, and campaign execution both in the U.S. and globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Influencer Talent Strategy Development: Develop and implement influencer/talent marketing strategies that align with overall brand objectives, target audience, and marketing goals.
  • Influencer Talent Identification & Outreach: Collaborate with agencies to identify relevant influencers across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) that coordinate with each brand's values and target market.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and lead influencer marketing campaigns from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and coinciding with brand guidelines.
  • Content Collaboration: Work with brand marketers and influencers to ensure the creation of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with their followers and promotes the brand’s products or services.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and track the performance of influencer campaigns, analyzing key metrics (e.g., engagement rates, reach, conversions) to measure success and optimize future campaigns.
  • Subject Matter Authority: Stay updated on social media trends, influencer marketing standard methodologies, and emerging platforms to keep the brand at the forefront of influencer marketing.
  • Transformation: Support groundbreaking change management by leading enterprise workstreams across teams. Establish processes that drive best-in-class partnership experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external agency partners and internal cross-functional teams, including Media, Social Media, Privacy, Legal, and Regulatory on operational topics such as Media Planning, Social Media Strategy, and Risk Assessment.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all consumer marketing guidelines, promotional practices, privacy policies, and other procedures.
  • Financial Management: Supervise and handle budgets, and make cases for financial requests during annual business planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Senior professional with 7+ years’ experience or at least 5 years' agency experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing, and/or media.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in influencer marketing strategy and activation, with strong social and paid media experience.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries is advantageous.
  • Highly collaborative nature, with the ability to navigate and succeed within a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed with strong decision-making, project management, budget management, and prioritization skills.
  • Consistent record of influencing higher levels and outside functional areas with a service mentality.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, with a capacity to resolve problems effectively.
  • Successful leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Ability to respect and work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
