Associate Director, Product Marketing
LOCATION
Hybrid role based in the Boston area, with up to 15% travel for sales meetings, customer visits, and relevant medical meetings/congresses within the U.S.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred, along with 7+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience (renal experience a plus), at least 2 years in HCP or patient product management, digital marketing experience, and market research experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strategic digital brand marketing plans, create omnichannel experiences for HCPs, lead digital initiatives and campaigns, design promotional materials, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Seeking a strategic Associate Director of Product Marketing to lead digital marketing and market research initiatives for Vafseo, enhancing brand awareness and loyalty among healthcare professionals and dialysis patients.

Job Summary:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- MBA a plus
- 7+ years of professional experience in pharmaceutical marketing, experience in the renal category a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of HCP or patient product management experience
- Digital Marketing experience
- Market Research experience
- Develop strategic, multi-channel non-personal promotion plans
- Proficient in identifying market research needs, commissioning studies, and leveraging insights
- Able to analyze and interpret market data and apply insights to marketing plans/tactics
- Skilled at managing projects and processes on time and within established budgets
- Capable of working independently, efficiently, and effectively within a cross-functional team
- Able to work within a highly regulated promotional environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Successful at building relationships in cross-functional teams and with agency partners
- Capable of directing work of agency partners to drive key initiatives on time and within budget
- Develop strategic digital brand marketing plans/campaigns across customer and patient segments
- Create omnichannel (or multi-channel) experience to reach HCPs across their digital journeys and utilize insights to discover progressive platforms to reach audience in unique ways
- Lead digital initiatives including, 3rd party endemic programs, paid search optimization, and other media plans
- Develop digital health care professional (HCP) and patient promotional materials to support strategic initiatives
- Lead agency support selection, design research questionnaires, and synthesize market research insights to develop strategic recommendations for promotional plans
- Navigate tactics through Promotional Review Committee with legal, regulatory, and medical affairs, as needed
- Participate in development of annual brand plan
Work Environment: Boston area-based hybrid role. Up to 15% travel to attend sales meetings, customer visits, and relevant medical meetings/congresses within the U.S.
Compensation:
Targeted Base: $181,452.84 - $224,147.62*
- Base Compensation for this role will depend on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Base pay is only one component of the company’s total rewards package, all regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or the incentive compensation program (if applicable), as well as equity. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, etc.
