Job Description


Supports US Market Access Neuroscience marketing strategy for newly launched Parkinson’s product Vyalev and Duopa. Effectively orchestrates communication and alignment across the Payer, Supply Chain, Medical Payer Strategy team, HEOR, GA, and MABI channels and serve as the US Market Access subject matter expert for the Neuroscience Brand Team.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Execute Vyalev market access launch strategy in partnership with key cross- functional partners (e.g. brand team, patient services, marketing analytics and business intelligence, medical affairs, GA, medical and regulatory review, OEC, and legal).
  • Work with Market Access account teams to establish coverage aligned to model medical policy, across Medicare Advantage, Commercial, Medicaid, and VA channels. Emphasis on Medical Exception process prior to plans establishing formal coverage and policies. Gather feedback via SMAC team leadership.
  • Work with Government Affairs and Health Policy Account Executive team on Part B CMS strategy and engagement to obtain DME MAC coverage and reimbursement.
  • Drive market research activities designed to fortify launch strategy and maximize launch opportunity.
  • Partner with Trade team to work with Specialty Pharmacies in the limited distribution network, including quarterly business reviews, performance metrics, and collaborating with all stakeholders to improve patient access to therapy and streamline Vyalev Rx to Ship processes.
  • Coordinate and manage agency relations and activities to maintain and update core launch materials for market access sales teams (e.g response handler)
  • Represent Market Access on Vyalev IBT
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to marketing strategy and tactical execution
  • Provide support for marketing vision, strategies, plans and resource investment for Duopa and Vyalev while encompassing a “Team” mindset in all strategies.

Qualifications


Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required to enable this individual to demonstrate an appropriate level of business acumen, the ability to process scientific information and financial analysis.
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Neuroscience experience preferred but not required.
  • 3 years of US Market Access experience preferred but not required.
  • Market Access launch experience
  • Knowledge of Part B/ Part B DME marketplace, medical benefit design, government pricing codes and reimbursement
  • Experience with Supply Chain and associated contract negotiations
