Job Description
As a key member of the U.S. Oncology Omni-Channel Strategy & Innovation team, the Associate Director, U.S. Oncology Marketing - Customer Engagement Strategy & Innovation will work with a team of analytic professionals and external media, creative and analytic agency partners.
This role offers an opportunity to shape the evolution of digital and omnichannel customer engagement strategies across Owned, Operated, and Third-Party Vendor platforms. The individual will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and piloting innovative third-party media strategies and partnerships, while also shaping organizational requirements for evolving digital engagement approaches. This position requires adaptability, a commitment to continuous learning, and staying up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, customer engagement, and marketing automation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead articulation of business requirements for enhancing existing and evolving digital customer strategies that support engagement with key customers, including marketing automation and personalized educational content initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and pilot innovative third-party media strategies, engagement channels and vendor partnerships to ensure our Company’s customer engagement strategies remain best-in-class.
Collaborate with the US Media Team in driving innovative media contracting for US Oncology, by defining business needs for smaller/targeted media buys that enable omnichannel personalization.
Explore innovative approaches and new capabilities to provide teams with actionable data that drives customer insights, aligns digital channels, media, and third-party partnerships with strategic priorities to enhance the customer experience.
Drive analytics, metrics, and reporting evolution by identifying opportunities for new KPIs, data capabilities, and partnerships that will enhance measurement of customer engagement and digital strategies. Including, developing requirements, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Partner closely with Omnichannel Capability Teams (Next Best Engagement, Customer Data Platform, Customer Prioritization, etc.) to represent the Channel Strategy & Engagement Team’s (CS&E) specific requirements and ensure new/evolving capabilities are meeting business needs / pain points.
Required Experience & Skillset
Minimum five (5) years marketing/ digital media experience with an emphasis on omnichannel engagement strategy
Customer Engagement experience and/or Brand Marketing with knowledge of the end-to-end marketing and promotional process
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects/solutions with hands-on, detail-oriented approach
Innovative mindset with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk taking
Excellence in change management and demonstrated ability to work in complex organizations across hierarchical lines
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills
Strong business acumen with ability to translate complex concepts clearly and concisely to broad audiences
Understanding of both business strategy and technical concepts, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical teams to align solutions with organizational goals and drive successful execution
Preferred Experience & Skillset
Experience with Omnichannel marketing and advanced marketing capabilities (i.e., marketing automation, campaign management, analytics platforms, sales force tools, digital/AI recommendation engines, etc.)
Understanding of compliance-related concepts that govern pharmaceutical marketing and sales activities
Digital /Omnichannel Media Planning and Purchasing
Experience or education in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, mathematics, statistics) and business or analytical disciplines.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:
$153,800.00 - $242,200.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
