Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, 3-5 years of experience in Marketing/Project Management, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and Dropbox, excellent communication skills, understanding of branding principles, detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and digital marketing channels is a plus.

The Lupus Research Alliance is seeking an Associate for Marketing and Communications Project Management to coordinate the team's operations, manage project workflows, and ensure timely delivery of marketing assets to support lupus research initiatives.

Reports to: VP, Marketing and Communications
Location: NYC Metro Area (Preferred) or Remote
Department: Marketing and Communications (Advancement)
Salary Range: $70,000- $80,000
The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA), the largest non-governmental funder of lupus research in the world, is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Associate, Marketing and Communications Project Management to manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing and Communications team, plan departmental workload, lead all project management for the branding and marketing creative processes, and maintain systems and platforms utilized by the department. This will require strong business writing and oral communication skills along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. The Associate of Marketing and Communications – Project Management will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to ensure all projects and assets are delivered on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
Support cross-functional communications, attend department calls to gather and share info across teams
Drive brand and stakeholder objectives, manage department Asana boards, and provide regular updates to leadership and producers
Partner with internal teams to identify upcoming projects and schedule team bandwidth based on partner and organizational demand signals
Ensure workflows for deliverables are operating smoothly by ensuring Creative Briefs have all necessary information
Give direction to project teams through the full project lifecycle, lead project calls, prepare agendas, facilitate discussion, to generate next steps
Partner with MarCom functional experts and internal implementation partners to ensure that technology platforms support business requirements and drive efficiency
Support MarCom leads to create and deliver innovative and cohesive campaigns to support department and organizational priorities
Maintain communications with departments across the organization on project status and to gather additional information if needed
Support the VP, Marketing and Communications and Chief Advancement Officer as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Marketing/Project Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Asana, and Dropbox
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
Understanding of branding principles and ability to uphold brand guidelines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
Experience in managing and organizing design files and photo files
Sensitivity and discretion around confidential projects and information
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects while working independently or as a team
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on internal partnerships.
Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive strategy and measure success.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels is a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare/pharma is ideal as well
