QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or sales analysis, strong project management, communication skills, and proficiency in BI, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Manage new product development, oversee product life cycle, research market competition, travel with sales reps, analyze category performance, communicate product details, develop retailer relationships, collaborate with marketing teams, and maintain industry knowledge.

The Associate Product Manager will work directly with Product Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations, and Finance to create new products and programs. In this role, you'll be responsible for guiding the direction of new product introductions and existing product line management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage New Product Development process and help drive implementation of new products and packaging
- Manage product life cycle to ensure a balanced product offering and prevent SKU proliferation
- Assess market competition by researching and reporting product assortments and pricing
- Travel with sales reps to existing and potential customers to identify trends and opportunities to curate a cohesive, brand right product assortment for our consumers
- Analyze and report category performance and share with key stakeholders
- As the product expert, this position will communicate product and program details to both internal and external customers
- Create long term relationships with key retailers to help with product development
- Work with the product marketing team to identify products for promotion
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending tradeshows and events, reviewing industry sites, and establishing personal networks
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing with a minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or sales analysis
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional project management experience
- Excellent communication skills, with an acute attention to detail
- Ability to extract and mine data, and a demonstrated skill set to execute action plans is necessary
- Proficiency in BI, Access or similar database application, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
