We are looking for a passionate Marketing Manager responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies to drive Sommer’s Automotive brand's growth in the automotive industry. You’ll manage cross-channel marketing campaigns, oversee brand initiatives, and collaborate with various teams to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Discuss the monthly objective. Quantify the customer engagement needed by marketing to achieve the monthly objective for each dept.
- Update campaigns at the beginning of the month-specials online, promotional materials within dealership, website banner ads, video and graphic production.
- Be a part of the monthly manufacturer calls with department heads for full understanding of OEM promotions and objectives.
- Track progress throughout the month and make necessary adjustments mid-month and end of month to achieve the objective.
- Attend weekly sales manager meetings and report on proposals, campaigns and results.
- Work closely with BDC manager to review results from campaigns throughout the month and adjust as necessary.
- Create content for more effective BDC responses and track results.
- Work with manufacturing marketing reps on their programs and ensure proper spending and messaging

- Optimize brand site SEO and create content to draw more traffic
- various searches and track progress in improving our positioning on the search engines in relation to our competition.
- Track SEO traffic trends monthly.
- Work extremely closely with Dealeron to watch our SEM spend, optimize, and hold them accountable to performance.
- Optimize SEM creatively to get maximum results for spend.
- Track lead performance from SEM monthly.
- Ensure that there is sufficient budget throughout the month and especially at the end of the month to achieve department objectives.
- Continually test our SEM.
- Handle creative, track results and spend
Coop
- Responsible for submission, maintaining and review of coop accounts
- Update signage to be consistent with dealership branding.
- Work with Social Media assistant to create posts with pictures, videos, results, employee events, etc.
- Set a calendar for multiple posts per week and track results.
- Work closely with reps, hold accountable to results based on budgets.
- Consistently review new options from current providers and other providers.
- All creative needs to use consistent Sommer’s branding to increase our brand presence in the marketplace.
- Keep up to date on industry marketing initiatives and keep us ahead of our competition.
- Organizing, attending and promoting all Subaru Love Promise events effectively to the public
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional understanding of the automotive market, including industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to innovate within established brand guidelines.
Work Environment:
- Fast paced and dynamic with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet marketing campaign deadlines or support events.
