Seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to train staff, analyze sales, implement sales techniques, and utilize technologies to enhance dealership performance and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to oversee our sales staff. This position involves analyzing current sales figures and developing effective sales techniques to boost those figures. In addition, the ideal candidate will train the sales team on the methods and current processes developed at Ryan Family Dealerships, including the full utilization of the latest technologies, specifically tools such as real-time chat features, digital marketing. 3rd part inventory listing and more.
Our ideal candidate has at least five years of automotive sales with management experience and a demonstrated track record of closing deals and retaining customers.
Automotive Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed those quotas
- Coach salespeople on best practices for closing vehicle deals and providing advice and guidance to improve sales performance
- Forecast upcoming sales
- Step in to answer customer questions and issues when required
- Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
- Manage our CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
- Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers
Automotive Sales Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales management role at a dealership
- Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices
- Substantial track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals
- Excellent leadership skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Outgoing and service-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of inventory control and management
- Good working knowledge of VAuto, DealerTrack, Route One
- Proven ability to fully embrace new technologies to meet the changing needs of our customer base
