Automotive CRM Consultant for Berkshire Hathaway Automotive
The Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Group is looking for a Phoenix-based CRM Consultant to join our Customer Relationship Management Team. We are a collaborative team of professionals who work as business, process and technical consultants for Internet Directors, Sales Managers, Service Directors and General Managers at our automotive dealerships. This role will serve as a resident Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Traffic Management in the dealership setting.
Candidates must have automotive retail management experience.

Responsibilities
- Work with dealership General Managers and Key Department Heads to establish and monitor adherence to Traffic Management standard operating procedures.
- Consult with dealership Internet staff on website management and Digital Retailing best practices.
- Be the “go-to” resource to help dealers improve on their Digital Opportunities.
- Conduct in-person Traffic Management training for dealership Sales and Service staff.
- Conduct in-person regional “best practices” meetings for General Managers and Key Department Heads.
- Responsible for monthly enterprise reporting and benchmarking.
- Be well-versed in OEM Lead Management processes, business rules and compliance.
- Be well-versed in Inventory Syndication systems and assist dealerships in troubleshooting pricing and merchandising issues.
- Work with General Managers and BHA to ensure that customer information safeguards are being followed.
- Conduct in-person Traffic Management training for dealership Sales and Service staff.
- Conduct in-person regional “best practices” meetings for General Managers and Key Department Heads.
- Assist newly acquired dealerships with the initial implementation of Sales and Service management systems.
- Responsible for training and technical management of CRM and Internet Lead Management (ILM) systems.
- Interface with CRM/ILM vendors and third-party lead providers to ensure that evolving dealership clients' needs, requirements and issues are being addressed.
- Responsible for tracking campaign effectiveness and ROI associated with Internet marketing.
Qualifications
- 3+ years automotive retail sales and management experience
- Proven experience working with a CRM tool in an automotive retail environment
- Understanding of Automotive Sales and Service Driven Organizations, preferred
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, policies, procedures, regulations or government law
- A knowledge of other programs to include: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. HTML and knowledge of website editing software, DMS, and CRM/ILM systems
- Strong organization, flexibility and time management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent foundational consulting skills, including analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, client relationship development, facilitation and presentation skills
- Understanding of future automotive retailing landscape and a desire to affect positive change in the industry
- Outstanding ability to initiate and maintain strong working relationships with dealer personnel
- Bachelor’s in business management/administration or computer technology, preferred
- Position requires availability via phone on weekends and holidays when dealerships are open
- Travel is required.
