Position Overview:

Krate Tactical is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented B2B Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will maintain and further foster strong relationships with our business clients, which include shooting ranges, gun stores, outdoor retailers, and other organizations needing tactical gear. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping our clients find the perfect products for their customers. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales, a passion for tactical gear, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Primarily through phone calls, develop and nurture long-term relationships with B2B clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all Krate Tactical products.
  • Sales & Account Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to grow sales within assigned accounts by upselling and cross-selling Krate Tactical products, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Product Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of our tactical products and solutions, and educate clients on product features, benefits, and proper usage.
  • Order Management: Assist clients with order placement and coordinate with the internal team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any client issues, working closely with customer service and product teams to provide effective and timely solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, competitor products, market changes, and the evolving needs of clients to position Krate Tactical as a preferred supplier and identify new business opportunities and help keep Krate Tactical at the forefront of the market.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on client activity, sales performance, and market feedback to the sales leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or a similar role, ideally in the tactical, outdoor, or sporting goods industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of detail
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the tactical, knife, or firearms industry
  • Familiarity with B2B sales strategies and customer success metrics
  • Demonstrated success in account growth and client retention
