QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent, 5+ years of experience in Blow Mold/Injection Molding, preferably with Uniloy Equipment, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, self-motivated with leadership capabilities, detail-oriented, and effective communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure optimal performance of machinery, respond to machine alarms, maintain machine efficiency and safety standards, assist in material management, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, execute adjustments, and perform minor maintenance.

Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a 2nd Shift (4:00 pm - 4:00 am Monday - Friday with weekends per business need) Blow Mold Technician where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner to minimize down time and maintain machine efficiency
  • Machine efficiency and productivity, including mold and machine maintenance
  • Work with supervisor and production coordinator to ensure safety standards are being met
  • Assist with material management including the processing of scrap and regrind produced
  • Report any molds and machines requiring maintenance
  • Ability to Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Perform adjustments to machine settings, programming cylinders, and resolving mechanical issues
  • Ensure that the plant is kept neat, organized, and safe at all times
  • Perform minor maintenance functions as needed on machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Work overtime / adjusted work schedule as required
  • Start-up and cycle in new jobs

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Blow Mold / Injection Molding: 5 or more years (Required)
  • Experience with Uniloy Equipment (highly preferred)
  • Some Proficiency in, but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.
  • Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking the initiative
  • Must exhibit leadership capability when working both alone and with teams in order to complete projects safely and in a timely fashion
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Exercise sound judgment and ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand for duration of shift up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable lifting, twisting, crouching, crawling, climbing and carrying up to 50 lbs. unassisted
