Our Brand & Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with internal teams to build and execute marketing and communications for Seattle Credit Union that drive awareness, interest, and deliver business growth with measurable results. This role will work with our creative partners to support the discovery process and translation. You will also support the marketing team to create and deliver presentations and/or marketing materials.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Plan, execute (writing and design), and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and email marketing.
  • Manage product launches and promotional activities to support the institution's financial products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product teams and retail, to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the institution's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance the institution’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Lead initiatives to improve brand perception and establish trust with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build tools and language to support marketing strategy.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations, legal standards, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Six (6+) or more years of experience specializing in financial services marketing and retail branch support
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel),
  • Mastery of design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Ability to learn/manage information-sharing platforms and communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Marketo, WordPress) as needed.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, CRM systems, and social media advertising tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in financial marketing.
  • Strong financial campaign writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, communications or related field
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing principles.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a hybrid role with work performed remotely as well as in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
