The Brand Marketing Content Editor will enhance clarity, accuracy, and consistency of content for Reynolds and Reynolds, collaborating with teams to produce high-quality materials aligned with brand voice and goals.
Reynolds and Reynolds is an industry leader in developing software and business forms for the automotive industry. These products enable car dealerships to operate more efficiently and effectively in a competitive marketplace.
Responsibilities:
The Brand Marketing Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and polishing a wide range of content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all platforms. You will work closely with our content creators, design team, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality materials that align with our brand voice and goals. You will also be responsible for producing content for our blogs, newsletter, and high profile accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, ensuring all materials meet the highest editorial standards.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and marketing professionals to refine and enhance content.
- Ensure content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Optimize content for SEO, including keyword research and integration.
- Manage content calendars and workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to help improve their skills and output.
- Fact-check content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Editor, Copy Editor, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and editing tools (e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway, etc.).
