Our summer internships provide ambitious undergraduates the chance to gain real world experience in their field of study. We provide challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. Internships take place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, over a 10-12 week period.
We are seeking a motivated and creative Brand Marketing Intern to join our B2B marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand management, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, sales support initiatives, and marketing collateral creation. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our team’s success.
Responsibilities:
1. Go-to-Market Strategies: Assist in developing and executing GTM strategies for product launches, campaigns, and market expansions. - Conduct market research to identify trends, target audience insights, and competitive positioning. 2. Collateral Creation: Support the design and development of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. - Collaborate with internal teams to produce content tailored to various customer segments and sales objectives.
3. Sales Support Initiatives: Partner with the sales team to create tools and resources that drive engagement and support the sales process. - Track the performance and effectiveness of sales collateral and provide recommendations for optimization.
4. Internal Brand Checking: Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards across all internal and external marketing materials. - Act as a brand steward by reviewing and approving collateral for compliance with established guidelines.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and corporate communications, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for campaigns and initiatives.
6. Performance Analytics: Assist in tracking the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights to refine strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled undergraduate junior/rising senior, at an accredited program, pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Interest or experience with copywriting promotional language.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Interest in B2B marketing and understanding of manufacturing industries is a bonus.

Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA.
Hourly Rate: $21.00, based on undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
