ABOUT AJ OPERATIONS

An extension of Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners ("AJCP"), AJ Operations is the in-house management company for AJCP's hospitality, residential, office, retail, and entertainment assets. By leveraging resources across the company, AJ Operations expands upon AJCP's vertically integrated development approach and is responsible for driving operating performance and guest experience through the alignment of branding, real estate, and property operations. Projects managed by AJ Operations include Chief's, an entertainment venue in partnership with Eric Church on Broadway in Nashville, Memoir Residential, a multifamily platform initially launching in Portland, Nashville, and New Orleans, and Coral Sands Inn & Cottages, a boutique luxury resort in the Bahamas, as well as many other exciting commercial, hospitality, and F&B ventures. AJ Operations will also manage 500,000 square feet of office space and 250,000 square feet of retail upon completion of AJCP's mixed-use project in Wedgewood-Houston Nashville.


ABOUT THE ROLE

AJ Operations is seeking a dynamic Brand Marketing Manager with experience in branding and marketing to join our team and lead project management of day-to-day brand marketing activities and production of branded materials for Little River.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Brand Marketing & Project Management

  • Concept and create branded assets, including key marketing materials, messaging, copywriting, and content across media and touchpoints, including website, email marketing, social media, leasing collateral, and programming
  • Manage the implementation of brand guidelines by executing existing standards and developing new standards
  • Leasing & Marketing Collateral: Work with internal and external teams to develop and maintain clear, on-brand, engaging visual communications for both print and digital applications
  • Wayfinding & Signage: Work with internal and external teams to oversee the implementation of neighborhood wayfinding and signage

Digital Marketing

  • Brand website: Manage neighborhood website
  • Social media: Manage neighborhood social media, including content planning, creating original content, scheduling, listening, and audience engagement
  • Email marketing: Manage the neighborhood's email marketing strategy, including content creation, design, and distribution
  • Measure and report on analytics across all digital channels

Programming & Communications

  • Create, manage, and report on neighborhood happenings calendar
  • Programming: Support tenants and neighbors in the development and promotion of neighborhood programming
  • Relationships: Manage strategic relationships with tenants and neighbors to support broader neighborhood positioning
  • Communications: Support internal and external PR teams, and ensure they have the latest information, assets, and talking points related to Little River

Archive & Brand Repository

  • Brand Repository: Maintain the Little River Brand Repository-an enterprise-wide resource for all AJ creative collateral (brand guidelines, logos, photography, renderings, style guides)
  • Archive: Maintain Little River Digital Archive (historic photographs, objects, and ephemera)
  • Other duties as assigned, for example: invoicing, RFPs, contracts, legal, Trademarks, Egnyte file management, asset management (collateral, logos, deliverables across production and, editing and proofing of all collateral and copy, creation of agendas, recaps, briefs for internal and external teams, etc.

Skills

  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite - Primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign and basic knowledge of graphic design fundamentals.
  • Strong interest in storytelling, including copywriting, creating original content, graphic design, and photography.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, Project Manager, or Producer within an agency, consulting firm, or in-house corporate marketing team
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience working with graphic designers, copy writers, photographers, and other marketing/creative personnel
  • Proficient in various software platforms, including Excel, Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Programs
  • Experience within residential, community, and/or hospitality marketing, leasing, programming, and creative project management (experience working for a variety of brands is a plus)
