Summary

We’re looking for an integrated marketer with a passion for B2B brand marketing and deep expertise in social media that will help Smarsh increase brand awareness and engage with important media, influencer and social media communities. This candidate needs to live and breathe the latest trends in B2B brand moments, social media and influencer marketing.

Your main responsibilities will include coordinating brand campaigns with goals to increase brand awareness, maintain a favorable public image of our brand, growing our social media communities, and attracting more customers. You will oversee measurement and reporting of our brand marketing and social media initiatives; and work with our partner agencies to develop and execute campaigns.
This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing and Communications.

How will you contribute?

  • 1. Social Media Strategy & Management:
  • Develop social media strategies that drive growth and business value
  • Create and execute social media strategies to increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
  • Manage the social media content calendar and help our agency partner deliver high-quality, engaging, and consistent content across social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into strategies.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and build relationships with followers. Identify and leverage influencers to insert the brand in relevant industry conversations
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce multimedia assets when needed.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to the company’s voice and values.
  • 2. Brand & Public Relations Campaigns:
  • Execute brand and PR campaigns to enhance the company’s brand image.
  • Manage our partner agencies to generate strong PR results for the company.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and pitch stories to relevant outlets when needed.
  • Manage the measurement and reporting of our media relations and awards program by maintaining our performance dashboard.
  • Manage press events, interviews, and media tours when needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR strategy.
  • 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategy
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align PR and social media initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to keep the brand relevant.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to the company’s voice and values.
