RESPONSIBILITIES
The job responsibilities of our Business Development Associate include, but are not limited to:
Marketing Strategy and Campaign Execution:
- Support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities and generating leads through research and outreach
- Qualify potential leads and coordinate outreach and meetings to explore opportunities
- Develop sales presentations, case studies, proposals, and SOWs
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual prospecting and sales goals
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up
- Support client service teams with account management tasks, providing insights and updates on business development progress
Operational Support
- Utilize CRM tools (such as HubSpot) to manage and track the sales pipeline, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate
- Assist in the preparation of reports and optimization of tracking metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales efforts
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that align with client needs and market opportunities
- Attend sales-related meetings and ensure key takeaways are communicated and followed up on
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in agency sales, agency business development, and/or B2B sales with a proven track record of achieving targets
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare and/or life sciences industry
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is primarily remote but may require occasional travel for client meetings and industry events. It demands extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to participate in virtual meetings that require clear speech and hearing. Candidates must manage a quiet, ergonomic workspace with reliable internet access.

SALARY RANGE: This position offers a base salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience. In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, this range reflects the fixed salary for this role and does not include potential bonuses or other compensation.
