Seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth, diversify income, and optimize operations at The Pine Hill Ranch, a horse boarding and riding facility.

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Innovation experience is neccesary and sales is preferred. This role is crucial for driving growth and expanding our market presence through strategic planning, effective communication and relationship building.

We are creating a Team to transform The Pine Hill Ranch (PHR) and need a growth strategist with a focus on collaboration, diversification of income streams, optimization of operational efficiency, and scaling profitable programs. They will work hand-in-hand with the Equestrian Center Director of the PHR and Staff to maximize current resources and move to expansion of offerings.

The Pine Hill Ranch is a fully operational horse boarding and riding lesson facility. This is the beginning of a different vision for PHR and the right candidate will be able to growth with us from the beginning.

Core Responsibilities of the Role:

1. Strategic Revenue Planning:

  • Develop and execute a plan to increase monthly revenue to meet annual target.
  • Diversify income streams beyond riding lessons and memberships, leveraging the ranch’s unique offerings (e.g., event hosting, retreats, corporate wellness programs).

2. Sales and Marketing Expertise:

  • Build a strong brand presence for “Equine Wellness” and other services.
  • Increase customer acquisition through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorships.

3. Program Expansion:

  • Identify high-margin opportunities such as luxury equine retreats, exclusive memberships, or merchandise.
  • Explore partnerships with corporations for leadership and team-building programs.

4. Operational Optimization:

  • Analyze current expenses and identify areas for cost reduction while maintaining quality.
  • Introduce efficiency-enhancing tools, processes, and systems.

5. Client Relationship Management:

  • Focus on retaining current clients while creating tiered offerings to upsell premium services.
  • Cultivate partnerships with individuals or organizations.

Supporting Roles for the Visions:

  • Marketing Manager: To maintain social media and grow the brand using ads, Google, print, tv, social media platforms.
  • Event Coordinator: To manage multi-day, week long retreats, weddings, and team building and corporate events.
  • Equine Specialist: To maintain high standards for equine services and wellness. Horse Experience Preferred.
  • Operations Manager: To track revenue, expenses, and profitability.

This leadership role will directly align the ranch’s operations and offerings with new opportunities, setting the foundation for scalable growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
