Business Development Representative
LOCATION
Full-time position in a professional school environment with travel up to 40% required to support client meetings and presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
High level of professionalism, strong sales skills, ability to communicate technical concepts, detail-oriented, and preferably a Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or marketing. 2+ years of experience in technology sales, especially in the K12 market is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and implement sales strategies, expand business opportunities, manage client relationships, respond to quotes, negotiate pricing, collaborate with teams, and monitor market trends.

The Business Development Representative will work alongside the President to promote services and solutions for schools, aiming to exceed revenue targets and build lasting client partnerships.

Financial Expertise: Create precise sales forecasts and budgets, consistently delivering on revenue targets.
Quote Machine: Quickly and accurately respond to requests from customers and in-house staff to create quotes and proposals for new services. Follow opportunities and close sales.
Pricing Wizardry: Mastermind pricing strategies and skillfully negotiate customer contracts.
Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with our operations and product teams to shape engaging sales materials, attractive offerings, creative campaigns, and smart product positioning.
Market Watch: Keep a close eye on cybersecurity trends and competitive developments, providing valuable insights to refine our sales tactics.
Empower the Business: Play a crucial role in boosting our business functions with your sales expertise.
Support company-wide initiatives with the Leadership team to drive a positive company culture and the ability to grow/scale the company through standards
Work with the Executive Team, Regional Directors, and on-site staff to provide input/insights on company initiatives
Participate in Monthly Team Meetings and Annual Staff Training
The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
Ability to effectively communicate technical aspects and benefits of technology offerings to clients
Communicate, negotiate, and present with exceptional finesse.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interface with clients and senior management
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity, with the ability to build relationships while ensuring compliance with all company policies
Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to effectively manage a high-volume workload
Able to handle sensitive/confidential situations and documentation
Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and communication skills
Ability to comprehend and follow verbal/written instructions in English
Must clear criminal background check and drug screen
CCRE, CC, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent Industry-standard certification in cybersecurity
Bachelor's degree in technology, business, marketing, or a related field
Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work
Growth mindset with a passion for new challenges, continued growth, and feedback
2+ years of technology sales experience in the K12 market
2+ years of educational technology experience
Experience working in a school or educational environment
Hearing, Speaking, and Manipulation of Hands: Ability to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to manipulate computer keyboard, objects, or controls
Other Physical Activities: Requires the employee to frequently stand, climb, crawl, walk, pull, and/or push
Vision abilities (with correction): include close, distance, and ability to adjust focus
Effective Communication: The ability to communicate verbally information and ideas so others will understand
