Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage prospective clients, qualify leads, and book appointments for our sales team. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with a passion for building relationships and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels (e.g., social media, databases, referrals).
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools.

Outreach and Engagement:

  • Initiate contact with potential clients via phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Create and deliver tailored messaging to capture interest and build rapport.
  • Conduct initial conversations to understand client needs and assess fit.

Appointment Setting:

  • Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team, ensuring seamless handoffs.
  • Confirm meeting times and provide necessary details to both the client and sales representatives.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with business goals.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, including lead generation, appointments booked, and conversion rates.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and company products/services.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to outreach strategies to maximize effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a business development, telemarketing, or appointment-setting role (1–3 years preferred).

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead management tools.
  • Ability to handle objections and think critically during conversations.
