Aveeva Hospice seeks a Community Outreach professional to enhance relationships with healthcare providers, drive referrals, and advocate for hospice services in a supportive and employee-centered environment.

Position Summary:
- Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
- Referral Development: Identify potential referral sources and develop strategies to increase referrals to hospice services.
- Education and Advocacy: Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families on hospice services and other service lines offered by Aveeva Hospice.
- Event Participation: Attend community events, health fairs, and professional conferences to represent the hospice program.
- Strategic Planning: Work with leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and target markets.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track referral sources, monitor marketing efforts, and prepare reports to analyze marketing activities and outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations and hospice industry standards.
- Understand and adheres to all laws, statutes and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities, patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Aveeva Hospice markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by Aveeva Hospice.
- Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least two (2) years of experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in hospice, home health, or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
- Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Strong knowledge of hospice services, regulations, and the healthcare industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse healthcare professionals and the community.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
