About The Role
As the Business Development Representative, you play a crucial role in shaping the company's future by driving its growth, exploring new opportunities, fostering meaningful partnerships, and expanding the organization's market presence. You create and implement strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. You are able to involve a mix of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and execution to achieve overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and target markets.
- Analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition.
- Qualify leads to ensure they align with the company's objectives and target audience.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential business partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for acquiring new customers and increasing sales.
- Provide the sales team with the necessary resources and information to effectively close deals.
- Develop strategies to expand the company's market presence and reach new customer segments.
- Research and recommend new markets, products, or services to explore.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize business development efforts.
- Regularly communicate with the management team and other relevant departments to provide updates on business development activities.
Requirements
- MUST have Healthcare experience
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, finance, or a related field is typically required.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to conduct in-person visits.
- 1+ years in business development, sales, marketing, or related roles with leadership experience is essential.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Having a deep understanding of market trends, competition, and customers’ needs to formulate effective business development strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- The ability to think critically and strategically to identify, pursue, and develop long-term plans to drive business growth.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines is essential to ensure smooth execution of business development initiatives.

Additional Information
The expected base pay for this role will be between $45,000 and $55,000 annually at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other PsychPlus Health-sponsored benefits.
