The Buyer Engagement Specialist will execute strategies to engage buyers, ensure KYC compliance, enhance buyer experience, and drive acquisition and retention for reLink Medical.
Job Overview:
The Buyer Engagement Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies that drive engagement, awareness, and loyalty among our buyers. This role is responsible for leading the Know Your Customer (KYC) initiative to ensure buyer verification and compliance while enhancing buyer trust and transparency. Additionally, this individual will spearhead efforts to expand the buyer base, ensure smooth onboarding, and develop comprehensive communication strategies to engage buyers throughout their lifecycle. The Specialist will work cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure that buyers experience high-quality, consistent engagement with reLink Medical’s offerings.
The role is ideal for someone who is strategic and able to execute in a hands-on capacity with a deep understanding of customer behavior, compliance requirements, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
KYC Initiative Leadership:
- Develop a structured KYC framework for buyer verification that is compliant with industry regulations and enhances buyer confidence.
- Lead the integration of automated KYC tools and platforms to streamline the buyer verification process.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as GDPR and other relevant regulations to protect buyer data and reduce legal risks.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay updated on evolving KYC laws and practices, ensuring reLink's KYC processes remain current.
Buyer Awareness and Expansion:
- Lead targeted marketing initiatives to raise awareness of reLink’s buyer services, leveraging digital marketing (SEO, paid ads, social media) and traditional marketing methods (email campaigns, direct outreach).
- Identify and target new buyer segments through market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with the Product Sales Team to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure a smooth transition.
Buyer Onboarding:
- Design a structured, efficient onboarding process that educates new buyers on how to maximize the value of reLink’s services.
- Create post-onboarding feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement in the onboarding experience.
- Act as the primary liaison between new buyers and internal team to ensure a seamless transition from onboarding to active engagement.
- Monitor buyer satisfaction during and after onboarding and implement strategies to improve retention.
Data and Analytics:
- Utilize data and analytics to understand buyer engagement patterns, segment buyer profiles, and measure the success of engagement efforts.
- Monitor KPIs such as buyer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), engagement rates, and churn rates to optimize campaigns and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership, outlining buyer growth, retention, and market opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations based on insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with the Product Sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach to buyer engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align buyer awareness strategies with broader company marketing objectives.
- Provide feedback to the product and development teams regarding buyer needs and feature requests that can enhance the buyer experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in buyer engagement, marketing, customer success, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing KYC initiatives, including the use of relevant technologies and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful buyer marketing campaigns that drive acquisition and retention.
- Experience in a B2B environment, preferably within healthcare, medical equipment, or related industries.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM tools, and customer engagement platforms.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
