THE JOB

The Casinos Contracts team is looking for a someone to fill a full-time, temporary position for 6 months. This person is an integral part of the Casino Division. Each year, this division books several hundred shows for casino clients across the country and Canada. We are looking for someone to process contracts for these shows who is dependable, a quick-learner, consistent in their work, and able to manage multiple deadlines. Experience with contracts is strongly preferred. References required.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Manage contracting and document review processes for the Casino Division booking team
    • Drafting, evaluating, and executing a variety of contracts, including but not limited to, artist contracts and client contracts
    • Collecting necessary/applicable documents such as compliant Certificates of Insurance, tax documentation, and payment details from each artist or contractor and maintaining a detailed log with status updates
    • Maintaining internal and client-facing communication and monitoring processes between the artists or contractors, casino properties, booking team, and Legal Department while assisting with any agreements business points and legal negotiations
  • Identify and discuss discrepancies or potential issues with Legal Department or Risk Management
  • Perform other job responsibilities, as assigned

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 3 years or more of relevant experience in contract administration, business administrative and/or legal/insurance environment
  • Strong understanding of contracting and professional services agreements
  • Background in artist bookings or music industry administration preferred
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to handle significant client, artist or contractor, vendor, and co- worker contact
  • Superior organizational and project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through abilities
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to effectively multi-task, reprioritize and work proactively and independently to meet deadlines and drive agreements to conclusion
  • Positive attitude and professional disposition
  • Computer skills and proficiency in MS, Adobe Acrobat, Asana (or similar) and Apple applications
  • Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during major projects and events
  • Ability to travel
