Position Summary
AmeriVet is seeking an experienced Campus Recruiting Manager with a background in the veterinary or healthcare space. This person will develop and execute our campus recruiting strategy, with a focus on establishing relationships with universities and professional programs to attract top talent. You will lead a team, track KPIs, and continuously improve processes to meet AmeriVet's growth and hiring objectives.
This position requires approximately 30% travel to visit campuses and attend recruiting events.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campus Outreach:
Develop and implement campus recruiting strategies to attract students and recent graduates for various roles within AmeriVet, with a primary focus on veterinary talent.University Partnerships:
Build and maintain relationships with key university contacts, including career services, faculty, and student organizations in veterinary and healthcare fields.Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and manage a team of recruiters, ensuring alignment with AmeriVet’s values and recruiting goals.Process Development and Improvement:
Establish and refine campus recruiting processes to improve candidate experience, hiring efficiency, and engagement with educational institutions.KPI Tracking and Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline development, and event ROI. Use data to drive continuous improvement in campus recruiting strategies.Campus Event Management:
Plan and attend campus events such as career fairs, workshops, and presentations, ensuring AmeriVet’s brand and mission are well represented. Requires travel to key campuses nationwide.Employer Brand Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing and talent acquisition teams to strengthen AmeriVet’s employer brand on campuses, aligning messaging with our mission and values.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in campus recruiting, ideally within the veterinary or healthcare sector.
Demonstrated success in leading and developing a team.
Experience building relationships with university and campus contacts.
Skills:
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Analytical skills to track, analyze, and interpret recruitment metrics.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel approximately 30%to meet recruitment needs.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics tools.
